1. Website Information
The Events Diary was updated on 29.08.24. Please note that dates and times are now shown for October to December. The club is very busy, but have managed to accomodate us - though not at the usual times - please refer to the schedule. We will start planning a Christmas Event shortly and will advise as soon as details are available. The Annual Awards Dinner and Social will take place on 14.09.24 at Tiramisu in Almancil at 19h00 for 19h30. Please follow and reply to Email instructions from Clive Walker.
The results of the September Stableford that was played on 06.09.24 have been posted along wIth all the updated schedules - including annual award winners. The results for the Vice Captains Day on 23.08.24 have also been posted - Note: Scores from this competition do not count towards Annual Awards and are not used for Handicap calculations.
The latest handicaps as at 06.09.24 are available on the HANDICAPS & MEMBERS Tab.
NOTE 1: THE METHODOLOGY AND RULES FOR CALCULATING HANDICAPS HAVE BEEN CHANGED FROM 02.02.24.
MEMBERS SHOULD READ THE NEW RULES CAREFULLY AND CHECK THEIR REVISED HANDICAP INDEXES AND PLAYING HANDICAPS.

The Governance Framework was updated on 18.07.24 to reflect changes and updates to the Playing and Adjudication Rules. Members are asked to update themselves with the changes. Our thanks to Mark Anderson for his advice and assistance with this process.

The annual social and Awards Presentation will take place at Tiramisu in Almancil on 14.09.24 starting at 19h00 for 19h30. Please respond to Clive Walker's Emails in this regard.
To facilitate admin and planning, Members are too also please note that entries for each day of the 2-Day event close at 17h00 on 10.09.24. in this regard, Players are specifically advised that if they only enter for Day 1, they will not be able to enter for Day 2 after this date.

Congratulations to our winners 1st - Stephen Coulson, 2nd Roger Hatley, and 3rd Allan Murray - and also to our 4 feature hole winners - as well as our Wooden Spooner Captain Adrian Jones.
There were no 2-club's in the Competition.
All round times were on target - well done everyone. We will stop monitoring the times for now.
