1. Website Information
The Events Diary was updated on 14.07.24. Please note that we have switched the dates for the Vice Captain's Day and the 3-Club and a Putter Competitions around. There are still a few dates for later in the Season that are being finalised with Quinta da Ria. The outstanding tee-times and arrangements - as well as dates for future social events will be updated as soon as possible.
The results of the July Stableford that was played on 12.07.24 as well as the 3-Club and Putter competition played on 19.07.24 have been posted along wIth all the updated schedules.
The latest handicaps as at 12.07.24 are available on the HANDICAPS & MEMBERS Tab.
NOTE 1: THE METHODOLOGY AND RULES FOR CALCULATING HANDICAPS HAVE BEEN CHANGED FROM 02.02.24.
MEMBERS SHOULD READ THE NEW RULES CAREFULLY AND CHECK THEIR REVISED HANDICAP INDEXES AND PLAYING HANDICAPS.

5.1 July 3-Club & Putter - 19.07.24
Thank you and congratulations to all of you that played. It was a really fun day that again proved you don’t need 14 clubs to play a good round of golf!
Congratulations to our winners 1st - Eric Coulson, 2nd Gerry McKenna, and 3rd Clive Walker - and also to our 4 feature hole winners.
There were no 2-clubs in the Competition.
All round times were on target - well done everyone.
Cards were filled in much more neatly and correctly than for the Stableford - thank you All.
This competition is not included in our handicap calculations, nor does it count towards any of the annual prizes.

Congratulations to our winners 1st - Alex Jackson, 2nd Jeff Sweet, and 3rd Roger Hatley - and also to our 4 feature hole winners - as well as our Wooden Spooner Richard Lay.
There were no 2-clubs in the Competition.
All round times were slightly above target - by around 10 minutes - so please all concentrate on speeding up again.
Members are reminded that our handicapping system can handle the input of scores from other courses as well as official World Handicap Indexes. PLEASE ALL MAKE USE OF THIS TO MAKE SURE YOUR HANDICAPS ARE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE.
Members also please ensure that cards are filled in correctly and neatly. Approximately half the cards submitted are not completed correctly and/or neatly. The Email on what to do will be re-issued separately.
